Taking care is an enormous responsibility

Yesterday, my brother got lost in a mall.
The huge Ikano Power Centre.
There I was, looking and picking through thousands of stationaries in Popular…
…when suddenly that little brat gone MIA.
It turns out, he went down the elevator and someone who is superbly kind bought him to the information counter.
Of course, we were totally oblivious of it. We were in fact, running around Popular with our panic faces screaming his name. Thoughts of kidnappers, molesters and pedophiles run wildly in my mind. (God, I have to stop watching Criminal Minds)
When my sister found him, he was playing with a toy car.
I was so pissed off, I vowed to ignore him for a week.
My sister, on the other hand, had already forgiven him. Bless her, she only cared that we found him in one piece.
So, late last night, when I had to brush his teeth I was as silent as a tomb.
Yazmin: Sampai bile you nak ignore dia?
And I just ‘jeling’ at her and walk straight ahead with my head held up high.
A second later, I bang against the wall and nearly fell.
This was superbly uncool for someone feeling so righteous so all three of us, including my bratty brother, laughed.
All anger, tension and frustration ebbed away.
He is in one piece, after all.
Gosh, God do work in a funny way ne?
Yeap, god do work in a funny way.. but d way wen u banged onto the wall was actually…
